1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets clear rules for using Social Space safely, lawfully, and in line with our brand-safe standards.

Violating this AUP may result in content removal, payout holds, suspension, or permanent termination without refund.

2. Core Principles

Users and creators must:

  • Keep all content and activity brand-safe, lawful, and respectful.
  • Use the Platform only for legitimate creator–fan engagement and community building.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and payment provider policies.
  • Honor fan privacy and consent.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, or distribute any content that includes or promotes:

(a) Sexual or Explicit Material

  • Nudity, pornography, sexual acts (real or simulated), erotic services, or content intended for sexual gratification.
  • Suggestive or fetishized content involving minors, non-consent, or any depiction of sexual activity.
  • Content that could cause carriers, app stores, or payment processors to classify the Platform as adult.

(b) Keep It Brand-Safe

Creators and users must keep all posts, messages, and media brand-safe and appropriate for a general audience.

This means:

  • No sexualized, adult, or explicit content.
  • No overly suggestive posing or imagery intended for sexual attention.
  • No profanity, hate, slurs, or gestures that could violate ad or brand-partnership guidelines.
  • No depictions of illegal activity, drug use, or dangerous behavior.
  • No content that would cause advertisers, payment processors, or distribution partners to classify the Platform as adult or unsafe for brands.

Social Space reserves the right to remove or restrict any content, creator, or campaign that fails to meet these brand-safe standards — even if the content does not otherwise violate the law.

(c) Violence, Hate, or Harassment

  • Bullying, stalking, intimidation, or coordinated harassment.
  • Hate speech or slurs based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or encouragement of self-harm.

(d) Illegal or Regulated Activities

  • Sale, promotion, or facilitation of illegal goods or services.
  • Drugs, weapons, gambling, or unlicensed financial services.
  • Anything that violates local, state, federal, or international law.

(e) Fraud & Misrepresentation

  • Impersonation of others, false claims of identity or affiliation.
  • Pyramid schemes, scams, or misleading fundraising.
  • Off-platform payment steering to bypass Platform fees.

(f) Security & Technical Abuse

  • Uploading malware, viruses, or exploits.
  • Scraping data, brute-forcing accounts, or attempting unauthorized access.
  • Interfering with normal Platform operation or degrading performance.

(g) Spam & Mass Messaging

  • Unsolicited bulk DMs, emails, or SMS messages.
  • Misuse of the "Own Your Audience" export feature to send spam or unapproved marketing.
  • Violating TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or carrier rules.

(h) Intellectual Property Violations

  • Posting or distributing copyrighted or trademarked content you don't own.
  • Using our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission.

4. Creator Conduct

Creators must:

  • Accurately represent themselves and their content.
  • Maintain a brand-safe presence suitable for all audiences.
  • Honor user opt-outs immediately for email or SMS messages.
  • Not share, sell, or misuse fan data.
  • Not incentivize users to engage off-platform in ways that bypass Platform controls or violate laws.
  • Creators may not target or interact with minors inappropriately. All user interactions must comply with our brand-safe and youth-safety standards.

5. User Conduct

Users (fans) must:

  • Respect creators and other community members.
  • Not harass, spam, or attempt to solicit off-platform payments.
  • Not misuse messaging tools for threats, abuse, or inappropriate content.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape Platform data.

6. Enforcement

  • We may remove content, disable accounts, withhold payouts, or notify law enforcement if required.
  • Repeat or severe violations result in permanent bans.
  • We reserve the right to make final decisions on what constitutes a violation.

7. Reporting Violations

To report misuse or prohibited content, email support@socialspaceapp.com with:

  • Your name/contact
