DMCA Policy — SOCIAL SPACE
1. Policy Overview
Social Space ("we," "us," "our") respects intellectual-property rights and expects all users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and promptly respond to valid notices of alleged infringement.
2. Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you believe material on Social Space infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing all elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Platform (URL or screenshot).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under § 512(g). It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed or to which access was disabled and the location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or Sussex County, Delaware if outside the U.S.) and that you'll accept service of process from the complainant.
Send the counter-notice to the same DMCA Agent address or email.
Upon receipt, we may restore the content after 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files suit.
4. Repeat Infringers
We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or attempt to circumvent copyright protections.
Multiple valid notices = permanent ban and payout forfeiture (where applicable).
5. Misuse of DMCA Process
Filing false DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in liability for damages under § 512(f). Use the process honestly and only for legitimate IP concerns.
